We, Ria and Henriëtte are Healing Touch for Animals® Instructors & Certified Practitioners and have a passion for animals and the relation with their people.

From childhood we love animals and were always in the company of horses, dogs, cats and other animals. From that early days there was already a special connection with the animal world.  

From experience with our horses, we recognized that veterinarians are very skilled, but they often just look at the injury and not at the animal as a whole. Everything that happens with and around them, influences their wellbeing and health. This was the start of our study in animal healing. 

In 2005 Carol Komitor came to the Netherlands to teach the first Healing Touch for Animals (HTA) course and in the two years after that, we’ve completed the study in the USA.

Since 2010 we’re certified practitioners (HTACPs).  

Is your animal not feeling well? Are there vague symptoms or behavioural issues? Needs your animal additional care during an illness, after an operation or injury?

Healing Touch gives the immune system a positive impulse and self healing is activated, this gives your animal a sense of well being. 

HTA can be given to any kind of animal, small or big. We have a lot of experience with dogs, cats and especially with horses. Every treatment is attuned to the individual needs of the animal, the relation with the owner and the environment is also part of the assessment.

Because we’re also trained in Healing Touch for humans, we can treat the owner as well.
